We are in the great tribulation now, it is a spiritual tribulation where God is bringing judgement on the churches and congregations as He did with National Israel in the old testament prophesy books. The true believers are commanded in Revelation 18:4 to depart out as the separation of the wheat and tares begins now (Matthew 13:30). The tares are being bound in the churches to be burned.
